Find out how it was at PRL times

The Museum of PRL is a new project which presents the communist period of the Polish history. The Museum has been open since 2008 and it is located in a former movie house called Svetovid, in the Nowa Huta district of Cracow. On the area of about 3000 meters a modern, multimedia museum presents the history of Poland between 1944 and 1989. Its exhibits are a real warning against the totalitarian system and enslavement. There are everyday objects, adds, prints, photos, but also radio and TV records, newsreels, excerpts from documentaries and feature films.
